Seven divisions, five categories, three branches. The structure exists so that every match you play is against a pair that can actually beat you.
P-Div 1 is the top. Your P-Combine decides where you enter. Your results decide how far you go.
Each of the seven divisions exists separately in the Men, Women and Mixed branches. A P-Div 3 Women ranking has nothing to do with P-Div 3 Men. They are independent ladders with independent titles, which is what lets a pair be genuinely competitive in one branch and still be climbing in another.
There is no way to pay for a higher division and no way to talk your way into one. Two routes, both earned on court.
Win the season league twice. This is the hard route: ten weeks of consistency, twice over, against the same sixteen pairs who all know your game.
Win five weekly tournaments in a single season. This is the fast route: it rewards a pair that shows up constantly and keeps closing out finals.
This is the part people get wrong. Your P-Div is not yours personally, it belongs to your P-Team. If your pair breaks up, the division does not follow you to a new partner. The new pair goes back through a P-Combine and is placed on its own merit, because two strong players are not automatically a strong team.
